The Toddler Program transforms basic care into intentional learning. We focus on independence, mobility, and the explosive growth in language and social awareness characteristic of this age.
Language Acquisition: Vocabulary expands rapidly through interactive stories, fingerplays, and Spanish songs related to weekly themes (e.g., animals, colors, seasons). Spanish remains the primary language of instruction.
Developing Independence: Encouraging self-help skills like feeding themselves, hand-washing, and early toilet-readiness with patient guidance.
Social & Emotional Growth: Toddlers learn fundamental social skills like sharing, taking turns, and expressing feelings using simple Spanish phrases (e.g., “Mi turno,” “Gracias”), reducing frustration and building empathy.
Learning Through Exploration: Utilizing a play-based curriculum (often based on the Creative Curriculum or similar models) where children engage with learning centers like blocks, dramatic play, and art to develop fine and gross motor skills.
